Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all paid programs purchased on tausquareacademy.com, operated by Tau Square Academy, a sole proprietorship of Niranjana Jayaraman, Secunderabad, Telangana, India (GSTIN 36AFGPJ8624L1Z2).

1. The Short Version

All sales are final once program access begins (customers outside India: see Section 5). Our programs are high-touch mentorship: when you enrol, a seat is reserved, senior-mentor time is committed to you, and the full curriculum opens to you from day one. For that reason, fees are not refundable after access has been granted.

We keep this fair by letting you evaluate us properly before you pay:

  Phase 0 is free: experience the actual teaching before spending a rupee.

  The Research Strategy Call is free: 15 minutes with our team to confirm the program fits your goals and timeline before you enrol.

2. What Is Refundable

  Cancellation before access begins: if you cancel after paying but before your program access has been granted, you are eligible for a full refund.
• →
  Duplicate payments: if you are charged more than once for the same enrolment, the duplicate amount is refunded in full.
• →
  Failed transactions: if money is debited but your enrolment is not activated, the amount is refunded in full once the failure is confirmed with the payment gateway.
• →
  Not refundable: blocked accounts: an account permanently blocked for account sharing or other misuse under our Terms is not eligible for any refund.

3. How Refunds Are Processed

  Email billing@tausquareacademy.com from your registered email with your payment reference: the invoice number (for example TSQ/26-27/0001) or the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt.

  We respond within 2 business days.
• →
  Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (via Razorpay) within 5 to 7 business days. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the credit.

  GST is refunded too. Every refund includes the GST you paid on the refunded amount. We issue a GST credit note against your original tax invoice, which you can view and download from your dashboard. A partial refund reverses the same share of the course fee and GST.

  When a refund cancels an enrolment, access to that program ends when the refund is issued. Refunds of duplicate charges do not affect your access.

  International refunds are returned in the original transaction currency to the card used. Any difference in value from exchange-rate movement between the charge and the refund is set by your card network and is outside our control.

4. Instalment / EMI Enrolments

EMI and instalment plans are agreements with the payment partner. Once program access begins, the same policy applies: the enrolment is final and remaining instalments fall due per your plan. Any charges levied by the EMI provider are governed by that provider's terms.

5. Customers Outside India: Immediate Access and the Right to Cancel

Some countries give consumers a legal right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason. In the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, this right lasts 14 days from the day you buy.

  Immediate access only. Your program opens in full as soon as you pay, and we sell it only on that basis. At checkout, every buyer outside India asks for immediate access and acknowledges that, once access begins, they lose any right to cancel for the digital course content (lessons, playbooks and materials). We confirm this in the email that carries your invoice. If you do not want to give up that right, please do not enrol: we do not sell or open a program without this request.

  Mentoring. Where your program includes mentoring or other services and the law of your country lets you cancel them within the 14 days, you may do so, and we refund the part of the fee for services not yet provided. The digital course content is never refundable once access has begun.

  Before access begins. If you cancel before your access starts, you receive a full refund (Section 2).

  How to cancel. Within the 14 days, email billing@tausquareacademy.com with a clear statement that you are cancelling, or use the form below. We refund within 14 days of receiving it, to your original payment method, at no cost to you.

6. Strategy Calls & Bookings

Research Strategy Calls are free of charge. You can reschedule or cancel your call at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp. No fees, no questions.
