The 100-Hour Protocol · Pricing

We don't hand you a paper. We install the system that produces them, for the rest of your career.

Every plan gets the whole system: 18 playbooks, the textbook and the 9-phase course. What changes between plans is how much help comes with it.

The playbooks

18 playbooks, one for every stage

Step-by-step working guides with the checklists, templates and scripts you fill in. Open one, follow it, tick every box.

  • Master map

    The Research Navigator™

Kills: getting lost between phases. One map shows where you are and what done means before you move on.

  • Topic selection

    Trial by Fire™

Kills: months burned on a question that isn't new or doable. Eight gates test it in an afternoon.

  • Search strategy

    Stand on the Giants™

Kills: guessing keywords. Your search is built from the landmark papers, then tested before you screen.

  • Screening

    Screening Accelerator™ v2.0

Kills: drowning in PDFs. Clear rules keep a two-week step from becoming a two-month one.

  • Data extraction

    Divergent Extraction Protocol™

Kills: the inconsistent numbers that lose papers. One master template for every included study.

  • Data extraction

    Expert Wrangler's Playbook™

Kills: messy, mismatched data. Every study ends up in the same clean, comparable shape.

  • Missing data

    Imputation Formulas Cheatcode

Kills: the missing-data problem that stalls students for weeks. The right formula fixes it in an afternoon.

  • Evidence quality

    GIGO Protocol™

Kills: flawed evidence sneaking into your analysis. It is stopped at the door.

  • Statistics

    Know Your Numbers Primer™

Kills: fear of the statistics. Plain language, no background assumed.

  • Analysis

    R-MetaScript™

Kills: black-box outputs. Forest and funnel plots in code you write and can rerun.

  • Analysis

    7-Step RevMan Protocol

Kills: fear of code. The same analysis, point and click, in seven steps.

  • Writing

    Sterile Results

Kills: spin in your results. What you found, in the order reviewers read it.

  • Writing

    Catalytic Introduction

Kills: the rambling introduction. Known, gap, your study, in a few tight paragraphs.

  • Writing

    Great Discussion

Kills: the discussion that just repeats the results. Weigh them against the evidence instead.

  • Writing

    High-Impact Conclusion

Kills: the forgettable ending. One take-home message and what it changes.

  • Writing

    Golden Abstract

Kills: abstracts that get skimmed. Built to clear a conference committee's bar.

  • Writing

    Automated Referencing

Kills: hours of reference formatting. Set up once, it updates with every redraft.

  • Peer review

    Peer Review Navigation Playbook™

Kills: panic at "major revisions". Rebuttals that are complete, diplomatic and bulletproof.

When you're stuck · Doubt Tokens

The playbooks are the map. When you hit a wall the map didn't clear (your search string returns nothing, your R script won't run), spend a Doubt Token. A senior mentor looks at your exact problem and sends back the fix, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

What you actually walk away with

Plenty of people get their name on a paper now.
Far fewer can stand behind one.

On your own

Months, often a year or two, and most beginners still finish with nothing they can publish.

In a group

You can end up on a paper fast. But you didn't run the process, so you can't repeat it, and you can't truly stand behind it when someone asks how it was done.

With us

You run every step yourself, with the system above and a mentor behind you. So you can defend the paper, and do the next one alone.

The plans

Every plan starts with the whole system.
Each step up adds people.

With a senior mentor co-writing your papers, it's $6,000. Most students don't need that much help, so there are two lighter ways in.

Foundations starts the day you enrol. The Accelerator cohort opens on a fixed date.

What we can't promise: that a journal accepts your paper. Editors and reviewers decide that, and any program that promises it is lying to you. We promise the process, and our presence in it.

All sales are final: the playbooks and templates are downloadable, so they can't be returned. That's why Phase 0 and a 15-minute call are free, so you can decide first.

Questions before you choose

Do I get printed books?

Mastery students do: the textbook and all 18 playbooks come as printed books. On Foundations and Accelerator, the playbooks and templates are digital files you download and keep, and the textbook is read online in your dashboard, chapter by chapter.

What exactly are Doubt Tokens?

When you hit a wall on your own project (a search string returns nothing, an R script won't run), you send the specific problem and a senior mentor sends back the exact fix, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Every plan comes with some (32, 8 or 3), and you can buy more anytime.

Can I pay in rupees?

Yes. In India, checkout is in rupees by UPI, card or No-Cost EMI, and you see the full amount, with 18% GST, before you pay. Outside India, you pay in US dollars.

Do I need a university login for the databases?

No. We teach the exact search strategies for open-access databases (PubMed) and gated ones (Embase). We strictly do not provide institutional login credentials or software licences.

What if I miss the cohort start?

Foundations is self-paced and available anytime, no cohort needed. The Accelerator cohort opens every 8 weeks, so if you miss this intake, the next one opens shortly after.

Does a systematic review count as original research?

By method, it's secondary research: it pools studies other people ran. But many of the rules that score applications count it as research. UK Internal Medicine Training scores it as original research, and India's NMC lists it as a research publication for faculty posts. The full answer, with sources →
