Tau Square Academy ("we", "us", "our") operates the website tausquareacademy.com and a WhatsApp messaging service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or messaging us on WhatsApp, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- →Account information — when you create an account or unlock free content, we collect your name and email address.
- →WhatsApp information — when you message us on WhatsApp, we collect your WhatsApp phone number and the responses you send to our automated questions (for example, your research goals and whether you'd like a call).
- →Usage information — basic technical data such as pages visited and progress through course content, used to operate and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- →To respond to your enquiries and understand which program best fits your goals.
- →To provide access to courses, content, and mentor support you have requested or purchased.
- →To contact you about your enquiry, including arranging a call if you ask for one.
- →To send you relevant updates about our programs. You can opt out at any time.
3. WhatsApp Messaging
Our WhatsApp service uses the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. When you message us, your message and phone number are processed by Meta in accordance with WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. We only message you on WhatsApp in response to your contact or with information you have asked to receive. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying "STOP".
4. How Your Data Is Stored & Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our platform:
- →Supabase — secure database hosting for your account and enquiry data.
- →Vercel — website and application hosting.
- →Razorpay — processes payments made in India, under its own PCI-DSS-compliant security. We never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.
- →Stripe — processes international card payments, under its own PCI-DSS-compliant security. We never see or store your full card details.
- →Meta / WhatsApp — delivery of WhatsApp messages.
- →Meta Pixel — analytics on our public pages that measures how visitors find us and how our advertising performs. It uses cookies and shares interaction events (such as page views, sign-ups, and call bookings) with Meta under Meta's Privacy Policy. It is not used on signed-in member pages.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and respond to your enquiry. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).
6. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below and we will act on it promptly.
7. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Tau Square Academy account and its associated data at any time, in either of two ways:
- →In the mobile app — open Account → Danger Zone → Delete My Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- →By email — send a request to privacy@tausquareacademy.com from the email address on your account, and we will delete it within 7 days.
Deletion removes your sign-in credentials and profile data. Records we are legally required to keep (for example, tax records of past purchases) may be retained for the legally mandated period.
